The Grupo Costa Azul is made up of Autocares Costa Azul, S.A., Autobuses Urbanos de Elche, S.A. and Tuxedo Limousines.
The origins of our firm go way back to 1923, when two French brothers from the South of France embarked upon a public passenger transport service project in the province of Alicante. It was taken over by the present day owners in 1946.
Nowadays, Autocares Costa Azul is a family business based on the Alicante coastline and it has cleverly found a niche in the public passenger transport service market.
We distinguish ourselves by dealing directly with matters on a daily basis, and our success is especially thanks to the people who have become part of this big family over the years: Drivers, office workers, middle management and other qualified employees who have all helped position us where we are today so that millions of people and companies from the tourism sector rely on us for transportation.
Grupo Costa Azul currently has a fleet of 160 buses and 350 employees, and we mainly provide our services in Orihuela, Torrevieja, Alicante and Elche.

Our regular bus services are provided around Alicante and along the whole coastline, Torrevieja, Guardamar, Elche, Orihuela, Pilar de la Horadada, etc. We also have a state and private school bus service, urban bus service, occasional carriage service, and we are a member of the Convention and Visitor bureaus of the cities of Alicante and Elche.
